How to reach Dubrovnik

Car
Croatia invested an enormous amount in the highway A1 from Zagreb to Split to make travelling by car easier.So you can reach your destination much faster.

Plain
You can arrive Dubrovnik from almost all regions of Europe, especially during the summer, because
a lot of companies strengthened approach the Cilipi-airport.

Ferry
You can come with the ferry from Rijeka or from one of its stopovers to Dubrovnik.The ferries run into the port of Gruz, which is three kilometers from the old town away.

If you love touring lighthouses or historic places (or both), you’ll appreciate a visit to Heceta Head Lighthouse and Keeper’s House. The Lighthouse and Keeper’s House at Heceta Head date to approximately 1894, and they are both listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Perched high on a cliff more than 200 feet above the beach below, the Heceta Head Lighthouse beam can be spotted more than 20 miles out to sea. The view from the Lighthouse is spectacular, and the Lighthouse itself is an incredible sight when viewed at night.

Visitors can take guided tours of the Lightouse and Keeper’s House at Heceta Head during the summer months, and by special arrangement at other times of the year. An observation area at the Lighthouse is open during regular park hours year round. There is a Gift Shop on site as well where visitors can browse a wonderful assortment of signature gifts, nautical-themed items, books, clothing and much more.

There is an interpretive center at the beautifully restored Queen Anne style Keeper’s House, and a B&B here offers guests the opportunity to stay at the Keeper’s cottage overnight.
