What happens when you return things to wal-mart?

When you return an item back do they put it back on for sale? what are the procedures they do when you return things besides getting the pink tag and all that stuff after they put it in the back?

It depends on what aspect you are asking about. If you are a customer returning a product you can expect them to query you about a receipt. You will also have to show an ID and can expect them to write down your personal details to make sure you are not returning large amounts of product.

If you are asking about their processing details, that answer is more complicated. After receiving the product, it is evaluated based on the reason for return. If it is faulty is it sent off to a further processing where it is returned to the company that they bought it from in the first place. If the product is a return but is still in new or like-new condition they will re shelve it after checking the packaging for security.
