Travel Neck Pillow

Long plane ride coming up. Any suggestions?

I'm going to be traveling soon and am wondering if there are any suggestions about traveling over seas. I've never done this and the longest I've been in a plane has been two hours. (Personally, I thought that was too much) But, I'm going to be in planes and airports for over fifteen hours. Not really looking forward to the traveling part but the destination should be great! Anyway, can anyone give me any information about what to bring/do on the plane? Like a neck pillow or iPod or something? I really don't know. Airlines these days are getting so strict about what you can have on them. Any information will be much appreciated! (:

Definitely bring your iPod and something to read. There really isn't much else different except you get bored longer.

Now as for security, since the Xmas bombing attempt, all the rules have changed again. Some airports are recommending arriving at the airport up to 5 (yes, FIVE) hours early to clear security. Some airlines are not allowing any carry-on baggage, some no pillows or blankets. Expect to be frisked at least twice and have everything in your luggage opened and checked.

The new approach is to allow the airlines and airports to set their own rules in order not to set a predictable pattern. Unfortunately, this means the passengers will never really know what the rules are until they try and pass security.
